Renewed CCTV Appeal in Weymouth Hotel Burglary

Dorset Police are renewing their appeal after a recent burglary at The Russell Hotel on the Esplanade in Weymouth.

The break-in occurred between 6 pm and 7 pm on Thursday 29 May 2025, during which entry was forced into seven separate rooms. Among items taken were cash and jewellery.

Officers have now issued enhanced CCTV imagery featuring two male suspects in the hope that members of the public may recognize them.

Inspector Robert Coram of Weymouth Police commented:

“We are continuing our investigation and are now in a position to issue images of two men we would like to identify. I would ask anyone who recognises them to please get in touch.”
