Search Continues for Missing Spetisbury Man as Police Urge Public Help

Dorset Police and volunteer search teams have intensified their efforts to locate a 49-year-old man reported missing from Spetisbury after he was last seen leaving his home on Friday, 9 January.

Jamie, described as 5 ft 11 in tall with a medium build and dark brown hair, was reported to have left wearing a green coat, jeans and wellington boots, and has not been in contact with family since. His loved ones say they are “extremely worried” and have appealed for anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

Officers have been conducting extensive searches, supported by the NPAS police helicopter and Dorset Search and Rescue volunteers, combing local countryside, farms and outbuildings for any sign of Jamie. Chief Inspector Rich Jeffery emphasised the force’s concern for his welfare and urged residents to check CCTV or dashcam footage that might show his movements on the day he went missing.
