A festive convoy of motorbikes will be rolling through the streets this December as Operation Jingle All The Way 2025 returns, calling on bikers to don their Santa suits and help bring Christmas cheer to children in hospital.
Taking place on Saturday 13 December, the annual charity ride is raising gifts and awareness for the Children’s Kingfisher Ward, with organisers urging “all Santas” to get involved and make a difference this Christmas.
The event, which has become a much-loved tradition, sees dozens of riders dressed as Santa Claus riding together in support of children spending the festive season in hospital. Every donated gift goes directly towards bringing comfort, joy, and distraction to young patients during what can be a challenging time for families.
Organisers have released a Christmas wish list tailored specifically for children on the ward. Requested items include Play-Doh, bubbles, sensory toys, therapy peanut balls, wooden train engines and carriages, Nintendo Switch games, Hot Wheels cars, Bluey and Paw Patrol toys and DVDs, baby dolls and accessories, craft sets, paints, pens, glue sticks, and board or card games such as Dobble and Uno. Wrapping paper and gift bags are also welcomed.
To ensure every child receives a suitable and personalised present, donors are asked not to wrap gifts, as items will be selected and wrapped individually by the ward team.
“Every gift will make a difference,” organisers said. “These presents help brighten the day for children who may not be able to spend Christmas at home.”
