PUBLIC APPEAL FOR INFORMATION FOLLOWING VEHICLE THEFT
Members of the public are being asked to assist with information following the theft of a vehicle in Dorchester on Saturday evening.
A white Ford Transit Custom van was stolen at approximately 11:40pm from the corner of Lorne Road and Marie Road, near the Thomas Hardye School area.
The vehicle was displaying the registration FG67 EVH at the time of the theft, although this may have since been changed. A distinguishing feature of the van is a large crack running along the bottom half of the windscreen.
A number of trade tools were also inside the vehicle at the time of the theft. Their loss has caused serious disruption to the victim, who is currently unable to work as a result.
Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area, has dashcam or CCTV footage, or has seen a vehicle matching this description is urged to come forward. Even small details could prove vital.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting crime number 04-0167.
The owner would like to thank the local community for their continued support in sharing this appeal.
