Shoppers at Poole Retail Park were treated to an unexpected festive spectacle this week after a car completely covered in colourful Christmas lights was spotted parked outside B&M.
The vehicle, wrapped from bumper to boot in hundreds of multi-coloured LEDs, stood out against the dark, wet evening, with the lights reflecting vividly off the rain-soaked tarmac. Passers-by were seen slowing down for a closer look, and several stopped to take photos of the eye-catching display.

The illuminated car appeared fully roadworthy, with lights carefully arranged around the bodywork, mirrors and rear panels, creating a striking, almost glowing outline. Streetlights and passing traffic only added to the spectacle, making the festive vehicle hard to miss in the retail park car park.
It’s not known who owns the car or whether it was decorated for a specific event, but the unusual sight certainly brought some seasonal cheer to late-night shoppers heading into B&M. With Christmas approaching, the festive motor has already sparked conversation among locals, many praising the effort and creativity involved.
For some, it was a welcome reminder that even an ordinary shopping trip can come with a bit of sparkle — especially in Poole.
