Community Spirit Shines Bright in Christmas Window Vote

Festive cheer lit up the town this Christmas as hundreds of residents came together to celebrate local businesses in a much-loved Christmas window competition. An impressive 624 people cast their votes, showing just how strongly the community got behind the event.

In total, 27 local businesses took part, transforming their windows into creative, colourful festive displays. From traditional Christmas scenes to imaginative and modern designs, the standard was high across the board — making the public vote both exciting and fiercely contested.

Organisers have extended a huge thank you to everyone who voted, visited the windows, shared posts online, and supported the businesses involved. “The response has been incredible,” a spokesperson said. “This competition is about celebrating creativity, encouraging people to shop local, and bringing some extra magic to the town during the festive season — and the community truly delivered.”
