The Coastal Combat Festival is set to return bigger, bolder, and more atmospheric than ever before, as it transforms the historic Dorchester Prison into a vibrant hub of martial arts, music, and family entertainment on Saturday, 7th February 2026. Hosted by The Combat Lab in Weymouth, the festival is renowned for its fusion of high-impact combat sports and dynamic live performances — and this year, organisers promise a truly unforgettable experience.
For the first time, the iconic former prison will become a full-scale festival venue, filled with immersive sound, dramatic lighting, and a family-friendly environment designed to showcase the best of local creativity and talent.

Explosive Combat Action at the Core
The beating heart of the festival remains the Main Arena, where fighters from across the UK will come together for a night of live combat sports. Spectators can expect a thrilling display of athleticism and sportsmanship as competitors take to the stage for what promises to be one of the most electric line-ups in the festival’s history.
Three Music Zones, Endless Entertainment
This year introduces an expanded musical offering featuring three distinct zones:
Main Arena – Live bands and headline acts will keep the energy high between combat showdowns.
FutureLand – A family-friendly space with a yet-to-be-revealed music line-up, adding a sense of anticipation for festivalgoers of all ages.
Tunnel Rave – An underground, atmospheric zone driven by DJs and high-energy beats for those seeking a late-night festival vibe.
The 2026 music line-up already includes an exciting roster of local and national performers such as Reba, Milk & Two, a Johnny Cash Tribute, Garcia the Band, Leggo Men, Saya, Mosse, and Jimbo Mules, offering one of the festival’s most diverse entertainment programmes to date.

A Festival for the Whole Community
“The Coastal Combat Festival has always been about more than just combat sports,” said Jordan, Owner of The Combat Lab. “It’s a celebration of community, creativity, and energy, and we can’t wait to bring that to such a powerful setting as Dorchester Prison.”
Visitors can also enjoy a wide selection of street food vendors, licensed bars, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere ideal for families, martial arts enthusiasts, and music lovers alike.
