
The Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service have released a statement saying:
“We were called to a commercial premises on Rodden Row, Abbotsbury at 7.26am today (14 January) for a fire in the roof.Ten breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jet and a main jet to extinguish the fire. No injuries have been reported, and our stop message came in at 10:14am.
At the height of the incident we had nine pumping appliances, a support vehicle, the aerial ladder platform (ALP) from Yeovil and an additional pumping appliance from Crewkerne(DSFRS).
An investigation into the cause has now taken place and believed to have started accidentally from an electrical source.”
